Some time ago we came up with an idea to automatically generate a set of discounts every week and called it Weekly Specials. Discounts are generated completely automatically based on predefined rules. Weekly Specials are only products with special prices that were generated automatically for the week, no other discounts are visible here.
Erply manually predefined Weekly Specials pricelist is used only in FR. .Com specials are calculated by rules on Magento’s side.
Magforge_Tableten_Model_AutoSpecial class contains rules about how products are calculated and put into Weekly Specials category on .com.
