This feature allows to see specific sales figures for a given period filtered by Country, Brand, Product Type and also grouped by any one of those parameters. This allows to see for example:
- which brand generated most sales during last 6 months
- blades of which brands were most popular
- which country we sold most Xiom Blades to
Sales Report can be accessed from Magento Admin main menu Reports > TT11 Reports > Detailed Sales Report. Most of the choices you have on this page are self-explanatory. Only dates are mandatory, all other fields have either pre-selected default values or can be left empty.
[alert]Please note “Show Sales For” filter – it allows to narrow down sales statistics to either .COM website or .FR website. By default it is set to Global – which means that all sales are included.[/alert]
Group By parameter allows to group sales statistics to get a desired drill-down.
Sort By parameter allows to order statistics either by “Name” column (Country, Brand or Type depending on selected Group By parameter), “Qty” column (number of products sold) or “Amount” column (monetary sales value in Euros).
Exporting Reports
You can export report numbers in one of the following formats:
- Excel XML – can be opened directly by MS Office and then be saved as .XLSX file for further processing and sending.
- CSV (comma separated values) – can be then imported into Excel or OpenOffice. NB! This file format usually is not recognized by MS Office, so you need to creat a new Excel Sheet and then use “Import” feature to import data from CSV file to your Excel Sheet.
Access Rights Management
Access to Sales Report page is controlled via Permissions. This allows specific users to be granted access to Sales Report. You can change access right on this page. Look for “Detailed Sales” as shown here:
