➤ Status “active”
Means that product is fully active and is available for sale. Products with this status will have “Enabled” status in Magento and will be fully visible and available for purchase unless limited by other features, like Brand Availability in Different Countries or Products with Zero Price.
➤ Status “no longer ordered”
[alert style=”danger”]Setting product status to “no longer ordered” in Erply will immediately remove it from sales in web-shop. This status is usually applied automatically when product was completely sold out in Clearance Section. If you apply it manually, make sure you know what you’re doing![/alert]
Designates Discontinued products – products that are no longer available for sale, but left visible in the shop when opened via direct link for example by clicking on search result in Google. Products with this status will have “Discontinued” status in Magento and will not be visible in Categories and Search Results. If product page is opened via direct link there will be a message:
➤ Status “not for sale”
Used in cases when product is not treated as standard Catalog Item, for example product is ordered for a particular customer, or for some other reason should not be visible to general public in web-shop. Products with this status will have “Hidden” status in Magento and will not be visible in Categories and Search Results. If product page is opened via direct link there will be a message:
➤ Status “archived”
Basically means that product is deleted, however since Erply does not delete products, it archives them. This status is generally used on products that are a result of some form of mistake: accidentally created product, duplicate product and so on… If you just need to stop selling product your best choices are “no longer ordered” or “not for sale”. Products with this status will have “Disabled” status in Magento and will not be visible in Categories and Search Results. If product page is opened via direct link “404 – Page Not Found” will be shown. Use this status only if other statuses really do not fit.
